Am I a workaholic?

When i started working in 2010, my goal was to reach somewhere great in my career.

I have reached a point in my life where weekends and becoming very depressing for me. When i am in the week days I can’t wait for the weekend to come. But when we reach the weekend, i feel so bored and depressed and wish i can do something but nothing to do or I don’t feel like doing what is available. I get this feeling almost every Friday.

I have actually started to look for solutions like going to new places or trying a new hobby but with no luck of changing that feeling.

I even feel like work is my only entertainment and joy. I get frustrated from work when things don’t go how we intended or something goes wrong but that is normal. I like the environment i am working in and the people that i work with.

So the idea is… Is loving your work more that your regular like considered as an workaholic life?

Everything is going smoothly

After my encounter last week, things are actually picking up and i am having a great week.

Had a couple of releases done smoothly and Successful without any issues yet.

Support from my managers and colleagues are a real help and i thank them for that.

Dealing with ignorant people…

Shit happens. Specially when work depands that you work with people who have a life goal to prove how stupid they are.

I know you just thought of someone you know and even work with… just imagine when someone like that has a managers position. He has to take important decisions that might affect your personal work and/or reputation.

I had to deal with people like that recently and thank god they don’t have any authority on me.

What is worst than a stupid person is a one that cannot make his mind on what he wants and your goals depends on their decision…

Wondering what the hell am I doing here…

Sometimes life becomes hard and you barely grasp your breath between all the pressure in life if it was from work, home or even friends.

All that is needed now is a long break from everything around me. Laying down on a beach somewhere and drinking some cold drinks.

I went to work today morning and had this feeling that my feet are so heavy while I’m walking to work as if something is telling me not to go.

I didn’t even mention yet the magnet​ that people call a pillow. The feeling of comfort you feel on it and how you feel like you weigh 500 tons trying to get off of it.

Can a person live his life without pressure all around him?

Goals and Achievements

The past year or so, I’ve been really considering changing my career path from Programming. But i did not set my mind yet on a certain path since the jump between career paths is hard and needs courage and proper planning.

Last year i had a sit with people i know and trust. We discussed the options i had, what really interested me. I saw that the Marketing and Social media path is something new and needed across sectors like banking and communication.

Would like to know what do you think of changing careers and what is the best path to choose.

Funny story

A DEA officer stopped at a ranch in Texas, and talked with an old rancher. He told the rancher, “I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.” The rancher said, “Okay , but don’t go in that field over there…..”, as he pointed out the location.
The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, ” Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me!” Reaching into his rear pants pocke
t, the arrogant officer removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher. “See this fucking badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish…. On any land !! No questions asked or answers given!! Have I made myself clear?…. do you understand?!!”
The rancher nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores. A short time later, the old rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher’s big Santa Gertrudis bull…… With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he’d sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs…..

“Your badge, show him your fucking BADGE!!”

كلنا مرت علينا الحالة اللي نقعد نقرا “حظ برجك اليوم” في الجرايد أو التويتات. كلام يمكن بعضكم يصدق ان صج و يتعب وإييب أدلة يثبت فيها ان الكلام صح. و العكس صحيح ، ناس تتعب وتبحث و تسوي اي شي عشان تثبت ان الكلام اللي ينقال عنهم غلط وماله وجه من الصحة.

شي لاحظته من زمان و قرأته في مكان ما قبل فترة ان لو ما تقرون رأس الـ “حظ” المكتوب و تخمنون الشخص المعني او حتى تعتقدون ان هالشخص اهو انتوا ، راح تصدقون لأن الكلام المكتوب عادة يكون كلام عام ماله تحديد في وقت او كمية.

أمثله:
– قد تتعرض لمحاكمة او محاسبة، ضع حدا لكل نزاع.

أي احد ممكن يتعرض بأي يوم لأي درجة من المحاكمة او محاسبة و كل احد لازم يحط له حد لكل نزاع.

– يحالفك الحظ لتحقيق امنية ما، حتى انك تظهر عن جرأة وشجاعة
ان شاء الله يحلفني الحظ ليش لا :p
– ترى الناس مجانين ويتصرفون بدون عقل
شوارع الكويت كل يوم ميانين ويتصرفون من غير عقل -_- ما قالوا شي يديد

يالحمل، يالقوس، يالأسد ، أيا كنتم من هذي الأبراج راح يمشي الموضوع معاكم حتى لو بشكل يومي.

انك تستفيدون من معلومات تحصلونها من الأبراج الفلكية شي حلو بس إنكم تؤمنون ان الكلام اللي ينقال لكم منه كلام مضمون 100% خطأ ويمكن ينضحك عليكم بسببه.

هذا الكلام رأيي الشخصي واتمنى محد يفهمني غلط فأنا ما اقصد الإساءة لأحد

Do what you love

توصل بحياتك لمرحلة معينة تحس ان ودك تنجز شي، ودك تستانس أو تحقق هدف أو إنجاز ما تدري شنو أهو

في هالمرحلة في حياتك تبتدي تدور عن اللي يسمونها “هواية” و تنقز من وحدة لي الثانية على أمل ان وحدة منهم تجذبك لها و تستمر فيها أو حتى تبدع فيها أكثر من غيرك. اذا ما لقيتها لا تستسلم لان موضوع مثل هذا يبيله وقت على ما يبين

وإذا لقيتها فـ هنيئا لك لأنك واحد من الأقلية اللي يلقون شي يحبونه. بتحصل لك ناس تمدح شغلك و تشجعك تكمل و بتحصل لك ناس تنافسك في هالمجال وكأنك تخطيت حدودك لما قررت تمارس هوايتهم المسجلة بإسمهم اهما فقط ولازم تاخذ اذن قبل لا تسوي أي شي. وبتحصل الواقعيين اللي ما يفلترون الكلام ويقطونه بالويه وبعض المرات تعتقد انهم حقيرين بسبب اسلوبهم “الجميل”

انت بإيدك تختار منو تسمع و تتأثر فيه ومنو تطنشه و تسمعه مثل ما تسمع اخوك الصغير اللي بالروضة وأهو يقول عن البنات “ويييع” :p

بعض الهوايات يمكن تكلف و بعضها يبيلها تفكير وإبداع و بعضها محتاج لها وقت وبحث عشان تحصل الناتج اللي تبيه بس هذا ما يمنع انك تجرب كل شي.
